Diebold Turbo Transaction Terminals

Diebold Turbo Transaction Terminals are recommended for general purpose reader locations. They are credit authorization terminals with an ABA track 1 and 2 card reader, a 24-key keypad, a 2 by 20 character display, a printer interface, a built-in 2400 baud modem, an RS422/485 LAN interface (up to 9600 baud), a 256K battery-protected static RAM (upgradable to 1 megabyte), and a PIN pad interface. The battery maintains transactions stored in memory for over one year if the primary power is lost.

The Diebold Turbo Transaction Terminal can store 1000 transactions offline, or 2000 transactions with a memory upgrade. The reader will automatically upload these transactions to the host computer when the unit returns to on-line operation.

The Diebold Turbo Transaction Terminal can be used for the following transaction types:

• Campus debit or credit transactions.
• Debit and credit plan balance inquiries (attended or stand-alone).
• Check verification.
• Cash transaction logging.
• Activities access approval
• Ticketing
• General validation for employment or enrollment status, payment of fees, or any set of database parameters.

• Bank card services (e.g. Visa and Master Card).
