Cellular adapters are now available for the Diebold 727 and Diebold Turbo card readers. These adapters allow the readers to be used anywhere a cellular phone is available. The use of switched cellular technology is currently the lowest cost technology alternative in applications where a relatively high number of transactions must be processed in a short span of time.
